The Hayes Township Planning Commission will be holding a meeting at 7:00 p.m.on Tuesday November 10, 2015, at the Hayes Township Hall, 09195 N Old US 31, Charlevoix.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the proposed changes to the Zoning Ordinance and the comments from the Charlevoix County Planning Commission regarding the proposed changes.

The Hayes Township Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hayes Township Hall located at 09195 Old US 31 North.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear a request by the homeowner for a 7.5 foot variance, from Section 4.13, Schedule of Regulations, to add an attached garage to the existing home, at 06801 Nine Mile Point Dr., Charlevoix, property tax number 15-007-400-021-00.

Hayes Township Park, Camp Sea-Gull will be closed to the public beginning October 1, 2014. A crew will be working on site to remove all the dead ash trees. The park will re-open as soon as the project is complete. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
